Introduction and History

 

Directorate of Record Management is a new directorate established recently under the initiative of top management of LDA. The objective is to ensure safety of property files, quick retrieval of record to dispose window cases, and preparation of database through digitization of valuable property record. In a step by step process the record of all the Directorates dealing with property files- including both exemption and allotment, will be transferred to this new Directorate. Once the files are handed over to Record Management they are promptly placed in the centralized record room after the computerized entry in specifically designed software. The directorate creates liaison with all other directorates to ensure instant availability of these files to deal with applications from general public.

  • Quick retrieval of record to dispose window cases in a timely manner.
  • To prepare a database through digitization of valuable property record.
